20th
I guess I really don't feel like updating this place any more. Been quite a while and lots has happened so I'll try to get as much as possible... maybe eventually I should just use this domain for a personal portfolio for work related stuff or something, I dunno.

Starting with the end of August. Kalon and I went back to Winnipeg with Joey and Merina when they left on the 29th. I stayed for a week but Kalon stayed for almost two. It was a pretty relaxed trip. We visited the university, explored the city, and on the weekend went out to Manitou to stay at Merina's parents place. Out in Manitou we got to visit an old heritage home out in the middle of nowhere, and a tiny school with a scary basement. Kalon and I also got to fly in a tiny little plane with Merina's dad who is a pilot, which was way cooler than flying in a commercial plane.

Last weekend was The Sidewalks EP launch (Better Late than Never) at Baba's Lounge. There were a LOT of people out (including all of my friends) and it was a pretty good night although I may have gone a little overboard with the drinking. Last Saturday Kalon got home from Winnipeg so I went to the airport with Mom and Rochelle to get him and then we grabbed a bit of lunch to eat at my house. Mom had brought Buddy up for a visit so he got to see my place and meet all of my roommates.

I've been playing a lot of PS2 lately. I finished Silent Hill 2 and am now working on ICO and Okami. It's kind of nostalgic to play these old games, but mainly I just find there aren't any games these days that interest me. Oh, I bought a DSi and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story on Tuesday. I was waiting for the DSi to come out in white, which it finally did. It's a pretty cool machine. Bigger screens and louder sound than the previous DS, and it has two cameras which I find are actually a bit of fun.

Today we were planning a trip to Moncton, but never managed to get in touch with everyone that would be going so it sorta was unofficially cancelled. Jon showed up this morning though so after a bit we decided we might as well go after all, and did. (Included on this trip were myself, Mike, Jon, Noel and Andrew.) It was a pretty classic day in Moncton, starting out with a wander around the mall, followed by Gamezilla, and then Don Cherry's for supper. We all mostly just bought clothes.

I got back into Charlottetown around 11:30 and went out to Baba's to hang out with Jaclyn and Jill. Little did I know that it was actually indie-pop night! I've been avoiding these for whatever reason but by the time I found out what I was getting into to it was kinda too late. We shared a couple pitchers of sweet-o and I ended up feeling a bit anti-social, but it was an alright night. After getting home I played ICO t'il 4:30 in the morning or so... and then went online which lead to me writing this update. I guess it's probably about time I got to bed.
